For rural health providers or municipalities, for instance, a solid assessment might uncover eligibility for major initiatives like the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP), which is channeling billions into rural communities to improve access, quality, and outcomes.

A strong needs assessment turns vague “we need funding” into a clear, compelling case: “We need $X to address Y gap, delivering Z measurable results.”
